Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of services by Social Deli (referred to as "we," "our," or "us") to the client ("you" or "your"). By engaging our services, you agree to the following terms:
1. Availability & Booking
1.1. To secure your preferred date, we recommend booking well in advance, as our schedule typically fills up 6–8 weeks ahead.
1.2. All bookings are subject to availability.
2. Booking Form & Product Delivery
2.1. Clients must submit the completed booking form and all required briefing documents at least seven (7) days prior to the confirmed shoot date.
2.2. All products must arrive at our studio at least seven (7) days prior to the confirmed shoot date, securely packaged and clearly labelled with your brand name, return address, and phone number.
2.3. If either the booking form/brief or products are not received within the required timeframe, your shoot will likely be rescheduled to the next available date.
3. Rescheduling & Cancellation
3.1. All deposits are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances.
3.2. If you cancel your photoshoot with more than fourteen (14) days’ written notice, any payments made (excluding the deposit) will be refunded.
3.3. You may reschedule your shoot at any time, provided you give a minimum of fourteen (14) days’ written notice. If less than fourteen (14) days’ notice is given, we are unlikely to be able to fill your original booking date, and a 100% rebooking fee will apply.
3.4. All rescheduling is subject to availability, and some shoots are booked up to eight (8) weeks in advance. We are not responsible for any delays in rescheduling if your preferred date is unavailable.
3.5. Purchases are valid for 12 months from the booking date. If unused within this time, the purchase will be forfeited.
4. Payments
4.1. Payment must be made in full before receiving any content.
4.2. Clients are not permitted to use the content until payment has been fully settled.
4.3. A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your shoot.
4.4. All prices are in AUD and exclude GST.
5. Refund Policy
5.1. Refunds are not provided under any circumstances, including change of mind or artistic differences.
6. Shoot Process
6.1. All products will be photographed or filmed using professional equipment in our studio.
6.2. Reels are shot using consistent lighting and angles for a polished, cohesive look.
6.3. Products must arrive in pristine condition. Social Deli is not responsible for scratches, marks, or damage to products upon arrival.
6.4. All garments and fabrics provided for photoshoots must arrive in a condition ready to be photographed. This includes being clean, free of creases, and without visible marks or defects. If you require steaming, ironing, or laundering services, this is charged at $60 per hour and must be scheduled prior to your shoot. Please notify us after booking should you wish to book this in.
7. Styling & Creative Freedom
7.1. Our minimalist styling ensures the focus remains on your products. Products should be small (under 30cm in size). Oversized or unsuitable products may result in further discussion or rescheduling.
7.2. While props are welcome, elaborate styling is not included in the package. Standard styling includes 2–3 backdrop changes and minimalist setups. Custom backdrops matched to your brand colours or mood can be arranged for an additional fee; however, this may push out the shoot date depending on availability.
7.3. Clients are encouraged to allow our team the creative freedom necessary to produce the best results.
8. Styling Options
8.1. Our minimalist approach is final; custom backdrops can be ordered for an additional fee.
8.2. Clients may send complimentary props for their products if desired.
9. Food Styling
9.1. If the client purchases the food styling option, the approach and execution are at the sole discretion of the Social Deli team.
9.2. Food styling is optimised for visual appeal based on what we believe will resonate with your target audience, not based on the quantity or type of ingredients purchased.
9.3. Food may not appear in every photo or reel, as styling decisions are made to achieve the best overall imagery.
10. Delivery & Post-Production
10.1. Reels will usually be delivered digitally via Dropbox within 14 days of the shoot date. Delivery includes editing and post-production time.
10.2. Rush delivery (2 business days) is available for an additional AUD 500.
10.3. Products will be returned to you by courier at your expense.
11. Additional Editing & Revisions
11.1. Videos and photos are corrected for colour balance, density, and contrast. Retouching is not included unless requested at an additional fee.
11.2. Requests for revisions are charged at AUD 75 per hour, with a minimum charge of one hour.
12. Product Return & Transit
12.1. If you request product returns, Social Deli is not liable for damage or loss during transit.
12.2. Clients must cover the cost of the return courier fee. We do not allow pick-up or storage.
12.3. Products left in-studio for longer than six (6) months will be disposed of.
13. Intellectual Property
13.1. Social Deli retains the intellectual property of all content created.
13.2. You are granted an unrestricted licence to use the reels and photos across your allocated brand's marketing channels, including social media, websites, and advertisements, only after full payment has been received.
14. Liability
14.1. Social Deli takes great care in handling all products and digital files. In the unlikely event of loss or damage, our liability is limited to the value of the service fee paid.
15. Governing Law
15.1. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia.
16. Entire Agreement
16.1. This document constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes any prior discussions or agreements.
17. Indemnity & Use of Content
17.1. The client is solely responsible for ensuring that the use of the content complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
17.2. Social Deli is not liable for any loss, damage, claim, or legal action arising from the use, publication, or distribution of the content once delivered to the client.
17.3. The client warrants that they have obtained all necessary rights, permissions, and releases for any materials, trademarks, logos, or intellectual property provided to Social Deli.
17.4. The client agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Social Deli, its contractors, and employees from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:
a. the use of the content by the client or any third party;
b. any breach of this agreement by the client;
c. any materials supplied by the client that infringe the rights of a third party.
